Traffic Optimization Service

What is Traffic Optimization?
Many web sites get light traffic or they get the wrong traffic - visitors simply leave without buying or signing up for anything.  Traffic Optimization works to correct this situation using a number of different techniques, delivering "qualified" traffic to your site.  This new traffic has a higher likelihood to stay at the site and interact with it they way you want them to - make a purchase, subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a survey - whatever it is you want them to do when they get there.

Why do I need Traffic Optimization?
As the Internet and the World Wide Web get larger and more complex, there is less of a chance people who are looking for what you provide will find you "by accident".  Traffic Optimization overcomes much of this challenge by determining where the highest quality potential traffic is for your web site and making sure a portion of this valuable traffic is aware of and visits your site.

Search Engines and Relevance
Search engines are becoming more and more important in driving new traffic to your web site, and they are constantly changing the methods they use to rank your site when potential visitors conduct a search.  A new emphasis for them is called link relevance, which measures the value and popularity of links to your site in order to judge if your site is "important" to the topic being searched.  You can't just submit your site to the search engines and expect a high ranking, you have to work at  "earning" the ranking through a number of different methods.

* Determine current rankings in all the search engines and directories
* Audit your web site for situations which may result in low search engine
   rankings and blocked spider attempts
* Discover optimal keyword and phrase combinations and embed them in
   the text and tags of the web site.
* Implement an ongoing search engine and directory submission plan
* Submit your web site to specialty directories targeted to your content
* Use paid inclusion programs for Top 10 search engines and directories, if
   applicable to your situation
* Test pay-per-click and sponsored keyword programs for delivery of highly
   targeted visitors at low cost and measure results
